Race Report: 2023 Hole Half Marathon
My race season didn’t go the way I hoped at all, but at least I’m ending it on a high note.
If anyone had told me at any point in my life that I would get seriously into triathlons in my forties, I probably would have died laughing. Like many, I got into Peloton classes in 2020, and let’s just say things escalated quickly from there.
My name is Guillermo Esteves. I’m a Venezuelan-American age-group triathlete based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. Although I am a beginner, I enjoy sharing what I learn during my training and races, passing it forward like many others have done for me along the way. Given to Tri is my triathlon blog, where I do exactly that. With multiple races of various distances scheduled over the coming months, I intend to continue swimming, cycling, and running for many years to come. I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
